Through My Window by Laura-Paige Keller
“I am often amazed by the incredible color combinations of Earth’s landscapes. I have a collection of photos that were taken through my car window. None of the photos are amazing, but they capture the color combinations that caught my eye. Each of these pieces is a functional work of art. They were wheel thrown, hand carved, painted, and glazed. Each color series is inspired by a particular snapshot through my window.”
ABOUT THE ARTIST: LP Keller is a local art educator and ceramicist. While earning her B.F.A. in Studio Art from James Madison University, she fell in love with the Friendly City and now calls it her home. She loves to travel to new landscapes, make her daughter laugh, and play with clay.
