This class will give you the opportunity to learn about the tools and techniques used in painting mandalas, and then put that knowledge into practice as we paint these two wooden mini mandalas together. No experience is needed! Carol will guide you through the process, breaking the pattern down into easy steps. If you are a returning student, I think you will enjoy the opportunity to learn brush strokes and to include rhinestones in your work! These 4-inch mandalas can be enjoyed all year long when displayed on a mini easel or bulletin board, or can be used as an ornament for the tree.
Mandala painting is relaxing and meditative. Come enjoy a low-stress, creative afternoon and go home with your beauties. If you are willing to give them up, these make wonderful hand-made gifts!

About the Instructor:
I began my mandala painting journey several years ago and have been infatuated with the art form ever since. I am still mesmerized by the intricate, symmetrical patterns in so many beautiful color combinations. My skill has grown as I have learned from my own practice, as well as classes taught by other talented artists. I'm pleased to have had my pieces accepted into the VMRC National Juried Art Exhibition, and was thrilled to receive the "Best in Division" award by the judges as well a "Peoples Choice" award. The practice of painting mandalas is very calming and meditative for me and I love sharing and talking about the craft with others.
Refunds minus a 10% or $20 processing fee (whichever is lower) are offered until 14 days before the start of class. After that, we do not offer refunds. We don’t offer refunds for missed classes, so please be sure you can attend all sessions of a class, or that you are okay with missing any that you’ll be away for.
