Clay, Casting, & Candles: Making your Own Candle Molds with Gene VanWyk

$135.00

Overview

  • 3 Sundays 1-3:30pm, 6/21, 7/5, and 7/12

  • Ages 16 and up are welcome

  • Cost: $100 + $35 materials (all materials included)

  • Beginners welcome!

Design and create a one-of-a-kind candle from your own ceramic sculpture. In this hands-on class, you’ll explore the full process—from shaping a small clay original to making a silicone mold and casting it in wax. The result is a custom candle that’s entirely your own, whether sculptural, playful, or elegantly functional.

No experience is necessary. Gene will guide you step-by-step through ceramic sculpting, mold making, and wax casting techniques, making the process approachable and rewarding at every stage.

If you’ve ever imagined a candle that doesn’t exist—this is your chance to bring it to life.
