Cut It Out! Linocut Stamp Making for Beginners with Eva Camunas
Overview
Saturday, February 21st, 1-3:30pm
Ages 16 and up are welcome
Cost: $50 + $10 materials (all materials are included)
Beginners and returners welcome!
Discover the fun of stamp making in this creative, beginner-friendly class!
Learn step-by-step how to design and carve your very own custom stamps. Each participant will receive a 4 x 6-inch piece of carving material—perfect for creating one larger stamp for cards or prints, or cutting into smaller sections to make a unique set of mini stamps.
The class will cover techniques for safely carving, transferring designs, and caring for finished stamps. By the end of the session, participants will leave with a handmade stamp (or a whole collection!) and the confidence to keep exploring stamp making at home.
No experience needed—just bring imagination and a love for creating!
About the Instructor
Eva Camunas earned her B.S. in Studio Art with a concentration in painting and drawing. She currently teaches elementary art in Harrisonburg City Public Schools, where she shares her passion for creativity with young artists. Eva loves all kinds of art—painting, drawing, printmaking, and more—and enjoys helping students of all ages create, explore, and have fun through art.
Class Cancellations and Absence
Refunds minus a 10% or $20 processing fee (whichever is lower) are offered until 14 days before the start of class. After that, we do not offer refunds. We don’t offer refunds for missed classes, so please be sure you can attend all sessions of a class, or that you are okay with missing any that you’ll be away for. You can find out more on our studio policies page.
