Linocut Card Making: Spring Botanicals with Eva Camunas
Overview
Saturday, May 9th, 5-7pm
Ages 16 and up are welcome
Cost: $50 + $15 materials (all materials are included)
Beginners and returners welcome!
Celebrate the season with ink and carving tools! In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn the basics of linocut printmaking while creating a beautiful spring botanical design inspired by blooming flowers.
We’ll cover how to transfer your design, safely carve a linoleum block, roll ink, and hand-print your image onto quality cardstock. By the end of class, you’ll leave with a small set of handmade cards—perfect for gifting, thank-you notes, or keeping for yourself.
No prior experience is needed—you’ll receive step-by-step guidance throughout the process. Enjoy a relaxed, creative atmosphere and leave with new skills and your own custom-printed stationery.
About the Instructor
Eva Camunas earned her B.S. in Studio Art with a concentration in painting and drawing. She currently teaches elementary art in Harrisonburg City Public Schools, where she shares her passion for creativity with young artists. Eva loves all kinds of art—painting, drawing, printmaking, and more—and enjoys helping students of all ages create, explore, and have fun through art.
Class Cancellations and Absence
Refunds minus a 10% or $20 processing fee (whichever is lower) are offered until 14 days before the start of class. After that, we do not offer refunds. We don’t offer refunds for missed classes, so please be sure you can attend all sessions of a class, or that you are okay with missing any that you’ll be away for. You can find out more on our studio policies page.
