Overview
8 Mondays, 6:15-8:15pm, 10/20-12/8
16 and up are welcome
Cost: $250 + $35 materials (all materials are included)
Great for individuals who feel comfortable throwing on the wheel and are ready for the next step
In this hands-on pottery class, students will learn how to design and create a matching set of functional ceramic pieces—such as mugs, bowls, plates, or serving ware. Perfect for those with some wheel throwing experience, this course emphasizes consistency in form, size, and surface decoration.
Students will explore techniques including throwing in multiples, refining forms for uniformity, and applying cohesive glazing and finishing styles. Through guided instruction and plenty of individual attention, each participant will complete a coordinated set by the end of the session.
What students are saying about this class:
"LP is such a patient teacher. She is skilled at meeting students where they are in their clay journey, as is able to provide constructive feedback/ideas. Highly recommend taking a class with LP- you won’t be disappointed!”
