Wizard Workshop (Family-Friendly) with Kathryn Fenton

$65.00

Overview

  • Saturday, July 11th, 9:30am-12:00pm

  • ONE TICKET = TWO SEATS. Each ticket covers one adult and one child (age 5+)

  • Cost per adult/child pair $60 + $5 materials (all materials are included)

  • Beginners and returners welcome!

Step into a bit of magic with this special “Bring Your Adult” workshop designed for young makers and their grown-ups. In this playful, hands-on class, each child (ages 5+) teams up with an adult partner to create a whimsical clay project inspired by the world of wizards—think spellbinding objects, magical creatures, or enchanted vessels.

This two-hour session includes guided instruction to help each pair build their pieces, followed by a short break to enjoy a themed snack while the clay sets. You’ll then return to add color and personality by painting your creations.

No experience is necessary—just imagination and a willingness to have fun together. The class is limited to 6 pairs (12 participants total) to ensure plenty of individual attention and a relaxed, creative atmosphere.

About the Instructor:

Kathryn was raised in the Shenandoah Valley and earned her B.A. in Art from Messiah College and Eastern Mennonite University. She loves to work in a wide spectrum of mediums, her main mediums are photography, painting, and ceramics. She is largely influenced by abstract expressionists such as Mark Rothko, Jackson Pollock, Williem de Kooning, and Wassily Kandinsky. Kathryn’s passion for art stems from her love of color, pattern, and texture and the movement and emotion that can be created.

Class Cancellations and Absence

Refunds minus a 10% or $20 processing fee (whichever is lower) are offered until 14 days before the start of class. After that, we do not offer refunds. We don’t offer refunds for missed classes, so please be sure you can attend all sessions of a class, or that you are okay with missing any that you’ll be away for.
