A Community Supper for a Good Cause
Thank you for an amazing first year of Empty Bowls!! We had over 100 people come and raised over $3500 for the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank.

2026 event information:
Join us for a cozy winter evening of handmade ceramic bowls, homemade soup, and shared purpose. Each guest will choose a one-of-a-kind bowl to take home and enjoy a warm, nourishing meal with neighbors and friends.

Time: 5:30–7:30 pm
Location: Friendly City Clay & Art Center, 1157 South High Street, Harrisonburg, VA
Tickets: 1 Donation = 1 ticket. Donate on this page (suggested minimum donation: $20), and bring a copy of your confirmation email with you to the event
Suggested donation: $20 (or more, if you’re able)
All proceeds from ticket sales benefit the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank.
What to Expect
When you arrive, you’ll:
Choose a handmade ceramic bowl to keep
Enjoy a variety of homemade soups, generously prepared by community members and friends
Sip water and enjoy a simple dessert
Cast your vote for your favorite soups—prizes will be awarded in fun categories
It’s a relaxed, joyful evening meant for lingering, conversation, and laughter.
